Interesting fact

Results measured: 12-28% fuel consumption reduction, depending on speed. Aft deck is 5-7 dB(A) quieter at the same speeds
Besides fuel savings and CO2 reduction, our customer primarily wanted more comfort. With less power required at cruising speed, the Colinda now sails significantly quieter. The vessel also stays flatter and makes fewer waves. When sailing in rear-entry waves, we see that the ship now stays in one straight line while the autopilot does the work. Grandiose sailing it is. The customer is extremely satisfied with the retrofit and we are definitely going to offer this to our other customers.
